Sant'Antioco hypogeum village
The so called "caves" of Sant'Antioco were part of the Punic necropolis of Sulky, ancient name of Sant'Antioco. The necropolis was made up of tombs with underground rooms (hypogea) digged up in the tuff and used between the end of the 6th and3rd century b C.

Later (until about 1960) on some tombs were transformed into houses by the poorest classes of the village. Now they are completely restored and offer a cross-section of past life.
